LASH LIFT VS KOREAN LASH LIFT

Lash lift is a chemical restructuring service that doesn’t just curl the lashes, it changes their shape by softening and reforming the bonds. When done correctly, a lash lift creates a longer, lifted look while maintaining healthy natural lashes.

Unlike traditional methods that focuses maximum curl, the Korean Lash Lift is all about gentle reshaping. This technique helps maintain lash flexibility and health while achieving a natural, softer curl by lifting straight up from the root.

The goal is creating longer-looking lashes with a soft, wearable finish while maintaining the health and integrity of natural lashes. Korean Lash Lifts often uses cysteamine-based formulas with a strong focus on lash health, and may use a more “glue-free” or product-led technique to achieve results that are healthier for the lashes over time.

WHO IS A KOREAN LASH LIFT FOR?

Before offering Korean lash lift to your client, a proper consultation is everything. It helps you determine:

If the client is a good candidate
What result is realistic for their natural lashes
Which lift style best complements their eye shape and lash pattern
Whether their lashes can safely tolerate processing

Before proceeding, always assess the eyes and lashes carefully. Do not, or proceed only with serious caution, if the client has:

Active eye irritation or visible infection
Recent eye surgery without medical clearance
Severe dryness or inflammation
Extremely compromised or overprocessed lashes
A history of allergic reactions (without proper testing)
Inability to keep eyes closed and cooperate safely

Lashes that are already fragile, frizzy, brittle, or excessively weak may not tolerate chemical processing well. In those cases, recommend a waiting period and focus on lash recovery before attempting a lift.

Once you’ve confirmed the health of your client’s lashes, the Korean Lash Lift is suitable for almost anyone because the goal is a lift from the root, not the tightest curl. That makes it especially ideal for straight, Asian lashes, but it works beautifully on other lash types too.
