DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LASH SEALANT VS BONDER
If you want better lash retention and longer-lasting sets, you’ve probably heard about both lash bonder and lash sealant. While they may sound similar, these two products serve different purposes in your lash routine. Think of bonder as the product that strengthens the adhesive bond and sealant as the protective topcoat that helps keep your finished set fresh.
What Is Lash Bonder?

Lash bonder is an artist essential, used at the end of a lash service to help cure the adhesive and strengthen the bonding points.
Our Super Bonder accelerates the curing process while adding elasticity to each adhesive bond. This added flexibility helps the extensions move more naturally with the lashes rather than creating a stiff bonding point. The result? Stronger bonds and retention that can last up to 30% longer.
Super Bonder also helps reduce adhesive fumes and sensitivity by tightening the bonding points and preventing vapors from escaping. Even better, it’s compatible with any lash adhesive, making it an easy addition to any lash artist’s setup.

What Is Lash Sealant?

While bonder works on the adhesive bond, lash sealant acts as your lash set’s little protective topcoat ✧
Applied after bonder, Lash Sealant helps neutralize any remaining sticky or tacky residue while creating a lightweight, water-resistant barrier over the extensions. This extra layer helps protect your lash set from everyday exposure to sweat and oils while keeping lashes looking fresh, fluffy, and cute.
Sealant also helps prevent freshly applied extensions from sticking to the eyelids, tweezers, or neighboring lashes.
Unlike bonder, sealant isn’t just for lash artists. Clients can use it between fills as part of their at-home lash aftercare routine. Our generous 15ml bottle makes it perfect for artists to use as a finishing touch or retail to clients who want to keep their lashes looking their best between appointments.
To use, apply a light coat onto clean, dry lash extensions. Gently brush through the extensions, focusing on the mid-lengths to tips. Use as needed between fills for a little extra protection.

Do You Need Both?
Yes! Lash bonder and lash sealant aren’t interchangeable, they’re the perfect finishing duo.
Bonder = strengthens and cures the adhesive bond.
Sealant = protects the finished lash set.
For lash artists, using both gives your set a complete finishing routine. For clients, lash sealant extends that protection into everyday aftercare, helping lashes stay fresh and beautiful until their next fill. ♡
